With Easter just a week away, it’s time to start working on your unique gift and gift decoration ideas. Here is Sandy Sandler making some of the most beautiful and gorgeous Easter bows for door wreath, gift basket and more on Bowdabra.
Sandy begins the project on the Large Bowdabra. She scrunches a 21” wide and 29” long green colored mesh along with a blue mesh of same dimensions and tops it with another green mesh, 39” long and adds a blue mesh over it. She scrunches it all and adds beautiful floral picks to it along with some decorative Easter eggs. Sandy tops it with a few green mesh ribbons (1.5” wide and 12” long) and ties it all, attaching a cute little bunny pick as the final touch.
In the next part, Sandy switches to Mini Bowdabra. She uses two pretty pink-patterned dovetailed spring ribbons (2.5” wide and 13” long each) and adds a beautiful pick to it. She tops it with another similar ribbon (1 yard and 24” long) with twist and turn method making loops. Alternatively, she adds picks after every loop and scrunches the fourth pick over the last loop. She ties it all and shapes the ribbons and tails to finish the beautiful bow, which ties to the wreath that Sandy made previously.
Sandy uses two 32” long assorted ribbons for decorating a basket that is filled with Easter green. She sticks both the ribbons together and glues the ribbon strip on the outer wall of the basket. Later, Sandy uses the Mini Bowdabra and scrunches three blue pointed ribbon leaves (6” long) in it. She tops it with three curved violet ribbon petals (4” long) and ties it all to finish the pretty little decorative rose-shaped bow. She ties it to the handle of the basket.
For the basket bow, Sandy inserts 13” long checkered dovetailed spring ribbons in various colors in the Big Bowdabra and adds another checkered ribbon (2.5” wide and 23” long) making loops. She adds yet another ribbon (24” long) making loops over it and tops it with a third ribbon of same length, again making loops. She inserts a few designer rose ribbon strips (8” long) to it and adds a piece of teal (2.5” wide and 12” long) making loops. Adding another rose ribbon (6.5” long) with a loop, she ties it all and shapes the loops and the tails to finish the beautiful bow. She ties it to the basket and puts some gift items like plush toys and candies etc. in to finish the pretty little basket.
Sandy scrunches a dovetailed yellow ribbon (5.5” long) in the Mini Bowdabra and adds a printed yellow ribbon (4” long) over it. She ties both the ribbons and tie it on a cute little bunny plush toy.
Sandy begins with inserting a rose ribbon (7.5” long) in the Mini Bowdabra. She sticks another strip of rose ribbon to a pretty blue ribbon (15” long each) and scrunches them in the Bowdabra making loops. Adding a dovetailed blue ribbon (5” long),she ties it all to finish the easy little hair bow that can also be used as a ponytail holder.
