Watch Sandy Sandler, the creator of Bowdabra, making some of the most beautiful yet super easy to make bows for headbands, pony tail holders, and neckbands of puppies and dogs on Large and Mini Bowdabra.
Sandy begins the project with the Mini Bowdabra. She scrunches a satin ribbon (2 yards and 3/4″ long) with twist and turn method making loops. She tops it with a purple ribbon (17” long and 1” wide) making loops in an X manner and scrunches a pink ribbon 2”X2” over it. Sandy ties it all to finish the loopy boutique bow that is perfect for ponytail bow or a big puppy.
LOOPY BOUTIQUE BOW FOR A PONYTAIL OR BIG PUPPY
Sandy uses a pink ribbon (13” long and 2” wide) andtops it with the same ribbon but with different dimensions (17” long and 2.5” wide). She scrunches it making loops and adds a pretty striped ribbon (13” long and 2.5” wide). She ties the ribbons and spreads the tails and loops to finish the cute bow that can be tied to a ponytail holder.
Sandy scrunches a beautiful blue mesh ribbon (18” long and 4” wide) making loops. She scrunches another beautiful ribbon (14” long and 2.5” wide) over it and tops it with a yellow ribbon making loops. She ties it all to finish the bow that can be used as a ponytail holder or headband or Easter bow.
PRETTY BOW FOR PONYTAIL HOLDER/HEADBAND/EASTER
For this project, Sandy uses the Large Bowdabra. She scrunches a blue mesh ribbon (12” long and 4” wide)and tops it with a printed yellow ribbon (23” long and 2.5” wide) making loops. She again scrunches another piece of the blue mesh ribbon (5” long and 4” wide) over it and ties it all to finish the cute little spring bow that can be used for a big dog.
CUTE LITTLE SPRING BOW FOR BIG DOGS
Sandy returns to the Mini Bowdabra for this one. She uses a beautiful ribbon (22” long and 1.5” wide) and scrunches it making loops in an X manner. She tops it with a thin blue ribbon, again making loops X manner. She adds some different color tubular mesh and ties it all to finish the bow that can be tied to a ponytail holder or a hair clip. This cute little hair clip bow will also look adorable on a puppy’s collar.
Returning to the Big Bowdabra, Sandy uses a pretty tulle (13” long and 6” wide) and tops it with another ribbon (20” long and 1.5” wide) making loops in an X manner. She adds some cute colorful corker ribbons to it and ties it all to finish the beautiful bow. It can be attached to a headband and can also be used as a neckband for a puppy.
