The wedding season is warming up and Sandy Sandler picks up the Bowdabra to make some amazing DIY wedding bows in minutes. Watch how simply and easily you can create gorgeous bows from ribbons and the Bowdabra Bow Wire.
Sandy begins the project with a dovetailed burlap ribbon (10” long and 1.5” wide). She uses a golden ribbon, 31” long, and scrunches it in the Big Bowdabra making loops in an X manner. She uses a white stripped ribbon and scrunches it making loops. She ties it all and shapes the ribbons to finish the beautiful bow that can be used as a wedding bow for bride’s mother, or party bow for the guests. She ties the bow to a gift package to give it a more authentic look.
Sandy uses a 32” ribbon along with a few more differently patterned ribbons (34” long and 1.5” wide). Sandy uses another blue ribbon (34” long and 1.5” wide) and tops it with more ribbons of different texts, patterns, and colors. She adds a 34” Bowdabra champagne ribbon and scrunches it over the rest making loops. Next she inserts another champagne ribbon over it and scrunches it all with several other big sized ribbons. She ties it all to finish the gorgeous looking chair and pew bow that can also be used for wedding décor or spring bow.
Sandy scrunches white tulle (2 yards long) in the Big Bowdabra and tops it with two beautiful glittery blue dovetailed ribbons (18” long and 4” wide). She scrunches two 26” long pink ribbon strips over it and adds three more mesh ribbons (each 20” long). Adding a decorative pick to it, Sandy tops it with a few more ribbons making loops and adds a pretty flower bouquet to it. Tying it all, she spreads the ribbon tails to finish the beautiful bouquet.
For this project, Sandy uses a pretty glittery blue ribbon (36” long and 4” wide). She scrunches another piece of same ribbon (1 yard and 11” long) making loops. She now adds a gorgeous Catherine’s Collection ribbon (37” long and 4” wide) along with another similar ribbon (38” long and 24” wide) making loops. She tops it with another piece of glittery ribbon (6.5” long and 4” wide) with a pretty flower pick. She ties it all to finish the super simple yet gorgeous bow.
