How to Create Beautiful Bowdabra Fall Wreath Bow

Big Beautiful Bowdabra Fall Wreath Bow

Materials:

Bowdabra

24″ Gold Bowdabra Wire

3” x 33” Wired Rustic Ribbon

3” x 33” Wired Holiday Ribbon

3” x 104” Wired Rustic Ribbon

3” x 88” Wired Holiday Ribbon

2 Fall Sprigs

Now we’re going to make this beautiful fall wreath bow that’s so super simple. So, we’re going to start with our Bowdabra. Take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold it in half, and lay it down into my Bowdabra. I’m just going to tuck the ends underneath, so they stay out of the way. And the springs underneath here are going to hold all my ribbon almost like a third hand.

So next, I’m going to take my really pretty fall leaf ribbon, and I’m going to cut from my corner in, and that’s going to create my pretty dovetail. Then, I’m going to double my two fall ribbons. I’m going to find the center and just scrunch that down in here

Next, I’m going to take my burlap ribbon. I’m just going to twist it. I’m going to fold and twist and fold and twist. And I’ll finish off by just pushing this down in here. Then, I take my Bowdabra wand and scrunch everything here. And now, I’m going to do the same thing with my leaf.

We’re going to fold because remember, we want the wrong side of the ribbon on the inside of the loop. So now, I’m going to fold and twist and fold and twist. Do the last fold back here and just scrunch this in. And I’m just going to clip this little piece of ribbon because I don’t need it.

Add the harvest pick

Now, I’m going to take my really pretty fall harvest pick and pumpkin. I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, and the reason I folded it in half is that now I have my slipknot. So, I’m going to hold the bow tight in my Bowdabra, pull it really tight while it’s still in the Bowdabra, pull it out, because this way, I’m not fumbling with my bow. I’m going to separate the ends, bring it around to the back.

(Tie & Knot)

But what’s important is that you want to keep your wire, because you might want to tie it onto a door or onto something on your mantle. To finish, we’re just going to shape it. And now you have this really pretty bow that can be used on your mantle, on a wreath, or wherever you desire.
