Make Worry Free #DIY #Wedding hair bows, flower girl headband, Maid of Honor headpiece without sew or hot glue with Sandy Sandler, Creator of the Bowdabra. It is so much fun to make elegant bows for all wedding occasions with the Bowdabra that anyone can do it in minutes. Sandy creates 7 amazingly beautiful, no sew DIY Wedding Hair Bows, all within just half an hour.
1. FLOWER GIRL HEADBAND
Sandy scrunches a piece of purple sparkly tulle into the Large Bowdabra, followed by a plain purple tulle and again by the sparkly tulle.
For the petals she uses a one-inch-wide green wired ribbon, cuts a 5-inch-long piece and cuts the ends to a point. She scrunches these petals down the center.
For the petals she uses smaller 4-inch pieces of wired ribbon, cut rounded at the ends. Tied up together with the Bowdabra Bow Wire and woven through the headband seam and shaped out, it makes a beautiful flower girl headband that even the flower girl can make for herself!
2. HEADPIECE FOR THE MAID OF HONOR
Sandy starts by scrunching some lovely purple tulle into the Bowdabra and places some shimmery floral picks over it. She adds some exquisite purple wooden roses over it and another piece of purple tulle. Over it she places a pretty piece of purple patterned ribbon, folded into a bow and ties everything up with the Bow Wire into a beautiful elegant headpiece. She adds a white string to the headpiece which can be tied easily to the ponytail holder.
3. SUPER SIMPLE HAIR BOW
This can be worn by anybody!!! Sandy puts a piece of blue ribbon under the lace, centering it. She folds the ends inside and pushes down the center to make it take a bow shape. She adds white sprays and spray roses to the bow, and ties them up with the bow wire and further with a headband. Shaped out it looks a stunning hair bow.
4. SPARKLING STAR HAIR BOW
Sandy first puts in sparkling star ornament tied with a piece of the Bow Wire into the Mini Bowdabra and then adds a double layered ribbon-and-burlap bow over it. She adds a little bow made of green ribbon over it and ties everything up with the Bow Wire. It makes a beautiful bow that can be tied to a ponytail holder and be a great accessory for a young lady.
5. BEAUTIFUL BRIDAL HEAD PIECE
Sandy puts in three pieces of lace in the Large Bowdabra (about half a yard each), and scrunches about three quarters of yard long gold glitter ribbon. She adds some roses to the arrangement and scrunches in another piece of gold glitter ribbon, this time a yard long. She ties up the arrangement and shapes it out to create an elegant, long trail bridal head piece.
6. SUPER QUICK FLORAL HAIR BOW
Continuing with the blue satin ribbon and white lace theme, Sandy places the lace over the ribbon, both dovetailed at the ends, and adds some floral picks. She leaves the ends loose and simply ties up the three items together at the center with the Bow Wire. It creates a super simple, floral hair bow that can be tied to pony tail holder.
7. DELICATE YET SIMPLE WEDDING BOW
Sandy takes a 3-inch-wide white satin ribbon and places it in the Large Bowdabra, with its long dovetailed ends left loose. She adds another piece of the same ribbon, folded into a bow in the Bowdabra. She adds a couple of pieces of lace and some korker ribbons to finish the delicate yet simple wedding bow.
