• Wrapping Paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Shirt Box
• Buttons
• Mini Bowdabra and Wand
• Bowdabra Hair Bow Tool and Ruler
• Bowdabra Bow Wire
• Grosgrain Ribbon – 4″ Black
Wrap your shirt box, as usual, with masculine wrapping paper.
Next, cut a three-inch strip of wrapping paper long enough to fit around the box. Fold and crease side edges in for a width of 1 1/2″ and wrap around the box. Glue ends down on back.
Cut another piece of wrapping paper about 24″x5″, folding sides in, and then folding again in middle.
Cross the folded strip like a shirt collar. Cutting one end off, even with the width of one strip and . . .
leaving a hem to fold over and glue.
To make a pocket, cut and fold a piece of wrapping paper, matching stripes. Fold in sides, and then corners (triangle) Glue together and let dry.
Now, glue on the pocket (left side) Glue on buttons down the center strip.
Cut an 18″ piece of Bowdabra bow wire, folding in half and placing down into the Mini Bowdabra, tucking ends under. Then cut grosgrain ribbon 6 1/2″ long, heat sealing the ends. Pinch sides in (mountain down) of one ribbon end, pushing down into the Mini Bowdabra.
Make another pinch crease (mountain down) at the other ribbon end and then make
the loop above the Mini Bowdabra tower, down into the Mini Bowdabra.
Use the Mini Bowdabra Tool and Ruler to make sure the loops are even on each side, then make a crease in the center of the ribbon by pinching the sides in (mountain up) and pushing the center down into the Mini Bowdabra.
Scrunch down the ribbon with the Mini Bowdabra Wand.
While the bow is still in, make a slipknot with bow wire ends, pulling tightly, gently pulling the bow out and tying bow wire in a knot around back. Cut off excess wire.
Cut a small piece of finishing ribbon about 4″ long, sealing ends, and folding sides together. Attach finishing ribbon around the center bow, covering wire and gluing together in the back. Let dry.
Glue finished bowtie onto the center collar. Complete by adding a Happy Father’s Day card in the pocket!
What an impressive looking gift wrap for Father’s Day or any special occasion for a man!
