Materials:
Now we’re going to make a really fun little puppy bow. So, I’m going to just take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold it in half and lay it down into my Mini Bowdabra. Then, I tuck it under or just put it underneath, so it stays out of my way.
Now, I’m going to take this really cute zebra-like ribbon and I’m just going to scrunch it in the middle and push it down. And I’ve already dovetailed the ends. Then, I’m going to do the same thing with this one. I’m just going to put a little mountain in the middle and scrunch it into my Mini Bowdabra.
So, I’m going to kind of shape it a little bit because I want it to be sort of spiky when it comes out. And I’m going to add one more piece of this same ribbon, again, with a little mountain in the middle, and scrunch that down.
So now, the next ribbon that I’m going to take is this pretty black ribbon, and lay that into the Bowdabra. Next, I’m going to take these pieces that are kind of a sheer. And what I’m doing is I’m putting it down. And on this one, I’m going to kind of shape it upwards. I’ll be able to do a little bit more with that once I’ve tied the bow off. At that point, the ribbon will be a little more giving to me. (Layer in the remaining ribbon)
And then I have this very cute little paw, which is kind of like a button. So I just tie the Bowdabra Bow Wire onto it. Then, I’m just going to lie that down into my Bowdabra. Now, I’m going to take my wand, because we really need to scrunch this one down. And I’m going to take my bow wire and I have a slipknot, so I need to pull these two strings through my slipknot. I’m going to hold my bow really tight while it’s still in the Bowdabra, pull it out, separate the ends, bring it around to the back. (Tie and double knot)
Finally, I’m just going to cheat and kind of pull my paw way down there, so it’s right there. And then I’m just going to cut this piece here. Then I’m going to take my ends here and tie them around my little leash. (Tie the bow onto the collar)
I’m just going to shape it. And you have this fun little puppy bow.
