Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a New Year’s bow. With the holidays over, it’s time to turn our attention to the New Year and all that it brings.
Happy New Year decorating with Bowdabra can be something as simple as a decorative bottle or as intricate as numerous bows adorning the dining room table. But, if you are attending a New Year’s Party (or any upcoming party), then you’ll need to take a beverage to the party and there is nothing better than a New Year’s Bow decorated bottle.
Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bowdabra Bow WIre-Gold
Red Scrunchy Ribbon
Begin by placing an 18″ length of bow wire in the Bowdabra. I wasn’t sure how much ribbon I was going to use, so I just cut off a length of ribbon and started creating my bow.
Place Scrunchy ribbon in the Bowdabra leaving a 6″ tail.
Create as many loops as the ribbon length will allow, turning the ribbon each time you put it in the channel.
Pull up on the ribbon and tie off.
Fluff out the bow. Using more of the Scrunchy ribbon, start at the bottom and roll it around the bottle until it is covered. Using the Bow Wire, tie the bow to the neck of the bottle.
Twirl the ends of the bow wire to form a decorative element.
Makes a lovely gift doesn’t it ?
Thanks for stopping by.
