This is a really cute gift-wrap idea. So, the first thing I’m doing is I’m taking my ribbon and I’m just wrapping it around, and I’m going to tie it. But what’s really important when you tie it off is that you want to make sure that the right side of the ribbon is on the top. And when you bring it through, you then want to twist it while it’s still in that little loop so you still have the right side of the ribbon up.
Now I’ve already done it to this side, but what I’m going to do is I’m actually going to just cut little strips of this ribbon, and dovetail the ends. When you dovetail you always cut in towards the fold. So I dovetail this, and again, we’ll go in towards the fold. Now we have all of our ribbon ready to go. I’m just going to set this aside.
I pull out my Mini Bowdabra with my Hair Bow Tool attachment. And I have my Bowdabra Bow Wire folded in half. So, what I’m going to do here is just lay this down into my Mini Bowdabra.
Now, always remember that you have to put the wire in after you put on the tool. So now, I have cheated, and I’ve already dovetailed the ends of these. They’re about 2-inch long. And I’m going to do my mountain-up crease, which is that little crease right there. And I put that into the Mini Bowdabra. I’m going to do the same with this light pink ribbon. It’s just a really nice little grosgrain ribbon. And again, I’m going to just make sure it’s centered. And I do the same thing with my pink. Now, I’m going to kind of push the pink up and leave the black ribbon straight. I want to push this so it goes down that way.
And Next, what I’m going to do is take my corker ribbon and center it. Then, I just lay that down in. I have this corker ribbon that’s a little bit bigger, and I’m going to put that down in the Bowdabra.
Finally, I’m going to take my Mini Bowdabra wand and scrunch everything in. Then, take my Bowdabra Bow Wire and pull it through the loop. Pull it really tight while it’ still in the Bowdabra then I’ll take it out and bring it around.
I’m just going to twist it because I’m going to tie it to my clip. So, I’m going to just put my clip in here. I’ve got to separate the bow wire first. And I’m going to just wrap it around my clip. I’m going to do the same thing with my other piece of bow wire and just wrap it there. And then I’m going to tie it in a knot right underneath the bow. And now my clip will be ready to go ahead and put here on to my box. I’ll put this one here, and you have a really pretty package.
