“It’s always fun at holiday time to dress up, and I figure we can’t deprive our fur babies the exact same treatment that we give ourselves. So, I actually picked up this adorable doggie collar, at the dollar. And I’m going to put that aside.
First, I’m going to take my Mini Bowdabra, And, I’ve folded my Bowdabra Bow Wire in half. On this one, I’m using the silver versus the gold bow wire. I like the silver for this project because I’m using this really pretty tulle, which is six-inches wide and has little silver sparkles. Next, what I’m going to do is I’m going to fold this in half because I like the puff that it’s going to give me. And I’m just going to scrunch it into my Mini Bowdabra.
And I just love the sparkly tulle. It’s so much fun to work with. So, now what I’m going to do because it really wants to pop out is just take my Bowdabra wand and just scrunch it in there.
Then I’m going to add these really cute little corkers. I’m going to provide a link to where you can actually get pre-made corker ribbon at the bottom of this post. Then, you won’t have to do all the curling and baking and everything.
Now, I’m going to just scrunch that in here. I would love it if you would comment and give me ideas in the comments section to let me know if you have any ideas for dressing up your puppies or kitties.
So, I will scrunch that down. Now, I’m going to take my Bowdabra wire and just pull the two loose wires through the loop, holding my bow down, and pull it really tight while it’s still in the Mini Bowdabra.
Finally, I’ll pull it out. I’m going to separate the ends and I’m going to bring it around to the back and tie a double knot. I love this because you can make this exact same bow in any colors for just about any holiday. And I’m just going to tie this right here onto the collar. And then I’m going to just bring it back around and tie it underneath the bow on the front side. To finish, I’m going to tie a knot to make sure it stays on tight. To finish, I’m going to clip the ends and fluff it out. Since this bow is more for a small puppy, we are showing you what it looks like on my favorite little-stuffed animal.
