Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today showing you how to decorate a breast cancer awareness gift bag with Bowdabra. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so I’ve created a gift bag for someone special.
Supplies:
Mini Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bowdabra Bow WIre-Gold
Ribbon
Begin by placing an 18″ length of bow wire in the Bowdabra. Place the first ribbon in the Bowdabra and create 2 loops on either side. Use the wand to push the bow in the Bowdabra.
Select another ribbon and also create 2 loops on either side. Again, use the wand to push the ribbon into the Bowdabra.
Next, take 6″-8″ lengths of 1/4″ ribbon and place them in the Bowdabra. Pull up on the bow wire and tie off.
Finish the bow by fluffing it and angling the edges of the ribbons.
To create the gift bag, use a rollagraph wheel with pink ink and roll across the bag.
Now tie additional lengths of 1/4″ ribbon to the handle of the gift bag, then tie the bow to the handle with the bow wire. Take the remaining bow wire and wrap around a pencil to curl.
Die cut varying sized circles for the front of the gift bag. Stamp a sentiment on the top layer.
After you make your gift bag try making this “believe” breast cancer awareness magnet to add to the bag!
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
