Making a bow with one-sided printed ribbon can be difficult. In this video you will learn how to make an easy bow using Bowdabra’s bow making products.

The craft stores are full of ribbon with adorable, sports, and other images that would be perfect for pre-season cheer bows. So let’s get started!
Materials:
To begin, place the hair bow tool and ruler onto the Mini Bowdabra. This will help you to measure your loops.
Then cut 18 inches of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and place it into the Mini Bowdabra.
Next, make a bow that is just single loops, one loop on each side. For the tails I cut 21 inches of ribbon and I dovetailed the ends. Fold in half to find your center and at that crease mark press it into the Mini Bowdabra print side down. Now, fold your loop, measured at the 3-inch mark. Then make a matching loop on the other side.
To finish the bow, scrunch down with the wand. Take the wire and run the tails through the loop. Pull tightly bring it around to the back and knot it. This is your first bow.
Next, to make a bow that has two loops on each side with the tails. Cut and add 18 inches of wire into the Mini Bowdabra as before. Now cut 12 inches of ribbon for the tails. Dovetail the ends and place into the Mini Mini Bowdabra print side up. Those are the tails.
For the bow, I cut 32 inches of ribbon. Find the center and place into the Mini Bowdabra print side down. Now take one end and put it into the Mini Bowdabra. Then take the other end and bring it around the loop and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Now you are left with what basically looks like an X. Scrunch the bottom loop in the Mini Bowdabra using the ruler to line up the loops. Finally, scrunch the top loop in the Mini Bowdabra. This gives you two loops on each side with the print side up.
Scrunch down with the wand. Insert the wire through the loops and pull tight. Bring it around to the back and tie a knot. You can use the excess wire to tie it onto a hair clip or whatever you are using it for. Or you can cut the wire off.
