Watch and follow along as Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how to make some super easy drink stirrers for Cinco de Mayo. Although we made these for Cinco de Mayo, these adorable drink stirrers are great for just about any party that you can think of.  Simply Change the colors and these easy drink stirrers would be a fantastic addition for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4^th and more.

Super easy drink stirrers

So let’s get started.

Materials

• Mini Bowdabra
• Bowdabra Bow Wire (18″ per Stirrer)
• Various Colored Tulle (3 per Stirrer) (2″ x 24″ each)
• Popsicle Sticks
• Scissors

“Now we’re going to make this really cool project for a Cinco de Mayo party. These are drink stirrers that you can use. So, the first thing I’ll do is fold my Bowdabra Bow Wire in half, lay it into my Mini Bowdabra and tuck the ends under so they stay out of my way.

Next, I’m going to take my purple tulle. I just thought these were really cute for Cinco de Mayo, because they were very colorful. But you could use them for Mardi Gras. You could have a little girl’s party and just literally make them any color that the girls want. You could have a whole bunch of tulle out and let them just choose the tulle. Also, if you wanted, you could take, like a bridal shower, you could have all kinds of bridal colors, and your friends can make these as stirrers for at your wedding.

Now I’ll take my last one, which is the pink, and I’m just going to open up the tulle because it tends to curl in. And I’m just going to scrunch my pink into my Bowdabra. And I’ve almost got it all in there.

Finishing your drink stirrers

Then, as the last step, what I’m going to do is take my stir stick and just lay that down into the Bowdabra so that now, when I take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, I’m just going to pull this together. So, now it’s tied in. I’m going to go all the way around and make this the back of my bow. So now, I’m going to just tie this.

Tie it really, really tight. Double knot it. And I’m just going to now clip the ends. Is that Vivee moving around back there? I think I hear something. Okay, I just kind of fluff it all out. And you have these really cute little stirrers that I just put into this Mason jar for everybody to grab.
