“I thought it would be really fun to make a Pet Valentine’s Day gift bag. And also, if your friend has pets, a Pet Valentine’s Day gift bag would be a perfect gift for them as well.
So, what I’ve done here is just a really simple ornament that I just clipped onto this red canvas bag. Now what I’m going to do is I’m going to take my PawTree treats, which are really high quality. And also our PawPairings, which is like a super food for your pet. And if you have a cat, we also have the cat treats. You can get these at petfoodplan.com.
Now make the bow
So, now that we’ve got our bag made, the only thing that I want to do is I want to make a bow to cover up the clip. So, I’m going to put this over to the side and I’m also going to put my little PawTree information thing in there so they know what they’re getting.
Then I’m going to bring my Bowdabra here. I’m going to take my silver Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold it in half and lay it into the Bowdabra. Next, I’m just going to tuck the ends underneath. Then I have some of our silver scrunch ribbon, which we have on our website. And it’s approximately five inches wide, but the width will vary because it’s all hand-cut. Then we’re going to take our tubular mesh, because I think that’s going to add like a little sparkle to it.
Now I’ll take my Bowdabra wand and scrunch everything down. Next I’ll take my Bowdabra Bow Wire and pull it through the slipknot. I’ll hold it really tight, bring it up, separate the ends and pull the ends around to the back. I’m going to tie a knot here, and I’m going to just double-knot it to make sure that it stays. Finally, I’m just going to shape my scrunchy bow. And we call it scrunch ribbon because it just kind of scrunches. So I’ll take my gift bag and I’m going to tie my bow over my clip so it hides it. And now you have a really cute gift bag.
