Hi everyone! Tammy here with you today with a fun denim wreath idea. I love to reuse my crafting supplies as many times as possible to save money and this wreath is the perfect example of how you can do it. I incorporated seam pieces from a pair of old jeans, decorative pine cone embellishment and my favorite wired ribbon into this denim wreath, and I think it turned out really cute. Here is how I made it…
Supplies:
Bowdabra
Bowdabra wire
Wired fabric ribbon
Seam pieces from an old pair of jeans
Decorative pine cone embellishment
Directions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra wire and fold it in half. Then insert it into the Bowdabra and fold around the edges to keep out of your way while your are making your bow.
Place the start of the ribbon into the Bowdabra
Create 6 loops in the Bowdabra
Pull the Bowdabra wire into a slip knot and secure with a double knot.
Tie bow to wreath form
Fluff bow and create a center space to add the decorative pine cone
Use more Bowdabra wire to attach decorative pine cone to the wreath form.
Tie a simple bow out of the recycled denim jeans seam and use more Bowdabra wire to attach it to the wreath form.
Fluff and adjust the bow to look balanced
I used an additional denim seam to form a hanging loop at the top of the wreath
I love how my recycled denim wreath turned out! It looks so simple and sweet hanging on my front door. I hope I have given you some ideas on how simple it can be to create beautiful home décor projects with items found around your house and the Bowdabra.
Let’s be friends!
