How to make a holiday party Gift Basket for our community celebaration
Each year our community comes together to celebratet the season by hosting a fun holiday party. A fun filled holiday basket is a great way to create excitement.
This year’s theme is Ugly Sweaters, so, I have put together a gift basket filled with candy, coffee, special coffee mug, champagne, seasonal kitchen Santa tongs, and lots of holiday cheer.
Materials:
Bowdabra Bowmaker
Bodabra Gold Bow wire
2 spools or wire ribbon, 2.5 inches width
Holiday picks
Baskets ( search Thrift stores for gently used)
Shred for filling
Celophane for wrapping it up
I like a dove tail point at the end of my bows, first fold bow in half, cut towards the end from the center. The dove tail ribbon is the first layer of my bow. Now your ready to build your full bow, take a look at your basket and us a half measurement for the size of your bow. Build and layer, I used three layers.
Place your gold Bowdabra wire for the tie, tuck it under to keep it out of the way. Then start the layering process. Have fun! If you don’t like the look simply change the ribbon until get the desired look.
Finish up my layer with a seasonal pick as a festive topping.

What is your event all about? When filling a gift basket keep in mind a few points, 1. is it going to be eaten, is so buy a wrapped food items, small bottles, fruit, etc.
Fill accordingly, I like to use non perishables, unless its to be opened right away.
