“This is a great hostess gift, Mother’s Day or Christmas present. What I did is we’re going to make a really cute tote. I just took a plain canvas tote and I’ve already glued one piece of ribbon along the bottom. So now what I’m going to is take my glue gun and just glue – put a little strand across the top here. A little bit more. Okay.
And then take my ribbon and just lay that across the top and glue that down. And you might want to take a little bit more glue to just maybe fasten the ends here, and just kind of glue it along there. So that way the whole thing is well glued. And then now I’m going to put this to the side. I’m going to make a really, really simple bow.
Now make the Bowdabra bow
So I’ll take my Bowdabra, or you could use your Mini Bowdabra for this as well. I’m taking my gold Bowdabra Bow Wire and folding it half. I’m going to lay it down into my Bowdabra and just tuck the ends under so they stay out of my way. Then I’m going to take this really, really pretty – it’s about a 5-inch wide wired ribbon, and just going to scrunch this down. And then I found this little gold pick, which I love, a little rose.
And so now I’m just going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, pull it through. Pull it tight. Separate the ends. Pull it out of my Bowdabra. Bring the wire around to the back. Tie a knot. And again, I’m going to make sure that I double-knot it. And I’m just going to clip the ends of my bow wire. Bring my bag back over here and take my glue gun, and I’m going to glue this right to the center. And put that down here, and I’m going to let it dry, and then I’m going to fluff the ribbon.
