Hi everyone, Steph here today with to show you how to create Halloween hair bows. You don’t need anything fancy, just lots of ribbon scraps, some hair clips and, of course, the Bowdabra. Who doesn’t love to dress up for Halloween?
Supplies:
Bowdabra Mini
Gold Bowdabra Wire
Assorted scraps of 1/2 inch wide ribbon
Scissors
Hair clips
Start by placing the Bow Wire in the Mini Bowdabra. Fold the wire under the Bowdabara so it is out of your way. Then have fun placing lots of cut up ribbons in the Mini Bowdabra. Use the wand to push the ribbons down so you can add more ribbons. I wanted these to be Halloween hair bows so I selected colors and patterns in this theme. Then I kept adding ribbons until I was happy with them.
Once I had all the ribbons in place, I pulled up on the bow wire and tied it off. This held the layers together creating a nice hair ribbon. I tied it tightly.
Next I used the bow wire to tie the hair bow to the hair clips. There are lots of hair clips to choose from so any hair clips will do. Just be sure to tie the hair bow to the upper portion of the hair clips. Finally, use a pencil or craft pick to create spirals out of the left over wire.
Cut the ends of each on a 45 degree angle for a finished look. Aren’t they adorable! Who wouldn’t love wearing them?
Look at all those ribbons. What girl wouldn’t love wearing these to coordinate with their Halloween outfit?
Thanks for stopping by today.
