Hi! Tammy here with you today with a fun Apple Wreath tutorial. I love Fall and all of the fun crafty projects. Back to school is a great time of year to make teacher’s gifts for the first day of school. Here is how I made this apple wreath.
Supplies:
Red Deco Mesh
Wood apples
Chalkboard paint
Green glitter paint
Green ribbon
Stick
White marker
Directions:
Cut Deco Mesh into 6-8 inch pieces
Place Bowdabra wire in Bowdabra Mini and twist around the bottom to keep out of the way
Place 2-3 pieces of the cut Deco Mesh into the Bowdabra
Pull Bowdabra wire into a slip knot
Pull tight, wrap wire around Deco Mesh and tie in a knot to secure
Tie Deco Mesh to wire wreath frame around the inside
Make a green loop bow as shown, with the same steps as used with the Deco Mesh
Attach stick and green loop bow with Bowdabra Wire to the back of the wreath
Paint 3 wood apple embellishments with chalkboard paint and glitter paint
Add writing with a white permanent marker
Tie to wreath form
That’s it and how cute is this wreath!! This would make a great teacher’s gift for back to school. I hope this tutorial has given you some ideas on how to use the Bowdabra Mini to make cute back to school gifts.
