This week here at Bowdabra blog we are featuring guest blogger Momma Lew’s recipe for Pepadew antipasti skewers. Let’s face it. Summer is such busy time of year. And most of us frequently try and fix healthy, delicious meals with the summer’s bounty of fresh veggies. This recipe is perfect in every way!
Reese says, “I drained the brine that the Peppadew peppers are in, which adds a punch of flavor. I then drizzled it on top of the antipasti skewers along with salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and diced fresh basil. These would be delicious with all types of delicious items on them. Think: mozzarella cheese, hard or Genoa salami, provolone, olives, up to your tastes!”
“We used our own fresh tomatoes from our garden. I absolutely love that Peppadew® peppers are a Jersey Fresh product grown here in New Jersey on local farms. They’re gluten free with no additives or colourings. They’re all-natural and non-GMO, making them an ingredient that adds fresh flavor to any type of dish.”
You can buy Pepadew peppers at many grocery stores, including Wegmans, Shop rite and more. Check out Momma Lew’s blog for more information.
