Bowdabra

Spider Halloween Wreath

The humidity is lower here in the south, and I know that means fall is coming! There are so many fall decorating options, and I usually want to do them all! My favorites are (non-spooky) Halloween decorations and pumpkins. Today I’m sharing a quick Spider Halloween Wreath that only takes a few supplies.

Spider Halloween wreath

Supplies:

  • Wreath form (either straw or styrofoam)
  • 48″ 1.5″ black ribbon
  • Hot glue and hot glue gun
  • Plastic spider with web
  • Bowadbra
  • Bowdabra bow wire
  • White netting, 4″ by 36″
  • White ribbon

Begin by wrapping the wreath form in the ribbon. Secure it with the hot glue.

Make the bow. Pull out the Bowdabra and lay a strip of Bowdabra bow wire across it.

Push the netting material in the Bowdabra.

Scrunch with the scrunching tool.

Use the Bowdabra bow wire to secure.

If desired, wrap a piece of white ribbon around the bow to cover up the bow wire.

Use ribbon to create a hanger for the wreath, which you will hot glue to the top of the wreath in order to hang the wreath.

Hot glue the bow to the top of the wreath, covering the ribbon hanger.

Use small amounts of hot glue to secure the web and spider to one corner of the wreath.
