This is the time of the year for bake sales and bazaars and oatmeal cookies are always a big seller. Fall will soon be in full swing, the nights are getting cooler and the days sunny and crisp. One of the best things about fall is the pumpkin spice in almost everything. I make a mean oatmeal cookie so I figured why not pumpkin spice it up! These cookies are so crisp and tasty and easier to make than cookies from a mix. The steel cut oats makes a finer oatmeal texture but you can substitute regular oats if desired.
