Easter Craft Foam Decoration with Mini Bowdabra Bow

Craft foam is easy to work with and inexpensive. I found little craft foam flowers and letters, in my local craft store. I used the craft foam to make an Easter decoration. I finished the little banner decoration with a Mini Bowdabra bow.

The craft foam has a glitter finish and looks gorgeous hanging from the pegboard by our entry way.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:

1. Begin with craft foam (letters & flowers), yarn needle, pliers, and embroidery thread.

2. Use the yarn needle to thread embroidery thread through each flower. If you have a hard time pulling the needle through – grab it with the pliers. Knot the end and make a loop at the top.

3. Use foam adhesive to attach the craft foam lettering to each flower.

4. To make the bow for the Easter decoration place the Hair Bow Tool & Ruler onto the Mini Bowdabra. Cut 18″ of Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it in half. Place the Bowdabra Bow Wire into the Mini Bowdabra.

5. Place the end of the ribbon face down into the Mini Bowdabra.

6. Fold and twist the ribbon and make a 2.5″ loop.

7. Make a matching loop on the other side.

8. Continue folding and twisting the ribbon to make additional loops. You should have a total of eight loops. Trim ribbon from spool.

9. Cut a 6″ piece of ribbon and dovetail the ends.

10. Scrunch down with the Mini Bowdabra Wand
.

11. Thread the two loose ends of the wire through the loop.

12. Pull the wire tightly.

13. Bring the wire around the back of the bow and knot.

14. Fluff the bow and use the Bowdabra Bow Wire to attach the bow to embroidery thread loop. Spiral the remaining Bowdabra Bow Wire around a pencil to create fun ringlets.

15. Hang the Easter craft foam decoration with Mini Bowdabra bow.
