This Christmas decorate the outside of your home with a beautiful pine wreath. Large pine wreaths look gorgeous on garages, sheds, and windows during the holidays.
Pine wreaths are very festive and and require very little sprucing up. Purchase either a fake plain pine wreath or a real one. Loosely wrap the wreath with large width wire ribbon, add pine cones, and finish with a Bowdabra Bow.
Wallah, a simple wreath that everyone is sure to enjoy!
Materials Needed:
Instructions:
1. Begin with a pine wreath either fake or real, I chose fake.
2. Loosely wrap Christmas wire ribbon around the wreath.
3. Wrap wire around the center of the pine cone. Attach pine cones to the wreath – in between each ribbon.
4. Attach pine cones to the wreath, except at the very top.
5. To make the bow for the wreath, cut 18″ of Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold the wire in half and place it into the Bowdabra.
6. Cut two strands of wire ribbon for the tails, one smaller than the other. Place them into the Bowdabra.
7. Press the ribbon into the Bowdabra, fold, twist and press the ribbon into the Bowdabra. Your first loop is formed.
8. Continue making loops, make the last loop smaller than the rest. Cut the ribbon from the spool.
9. Scrunch down with the Bowdabra Bow Wand.
10. While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire through the loop at the other end. Pull the Bowdabra Bow Wire tightly while the bow is still in the Bowdabra.
11. Gently pull the bow out of the Bowdabra. Separate the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring them around to the back of the bow. To tie off the bow, pinch the Bowdabra Bow Wire securely against the bow. Twist the bow 4 to 6 times in a clockwise direction.
12. Fluff the bow.
13. Use the remaining Bowdabra Bow Wire to attach the bow to the pine wreath.
14. Hang your wreath outside for everyone to enjoy!
