Bowdabra Bow Wire
Chenille Stems
Brown Pom-Pom
Steel Pin Back
Scissors
Instructions:
1. Begin by cutting an 18” piece of Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it in half. Lay it into the Mini Bowdabra. You’ll have a loop at one end and two loose pieces at the opposite end.
2. Next, take a red chenille stem and fold it in half. Cut the chenille stem along the fold. Then take one of the two chenille stems and fold it in half, again.
3. Place the chenille stem both ends down into the Mini Bowdabra.
4. Cut several more chenille stems in half and then fold them in half, again. Place the ends inside the Mini Bowdabra.
5. Next, cut an orange chenille stem in half. Place both haves along the bottom for the turkey’s feet.
6. Take a large brown chenille stem and fold it in half. Twist them together for the turkey’s neck and bend the very ends.
7. Place the turkey’s neck into the Mini Bowdabra, loop end down.
8. Next, spreading the Mini Bowdabra towers place a brown pom-pom inside.
9. Scrunch down the ribbon with the Mini Bowdabra Wand. While the turkey is still in the Mini Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the Mini Bowdabra Bow Wire through the loop at the other end.
10. Pull the Bowdabra Bow Wire tightly while the turkey is still in the Mini Bowdabra.
11. Gently pull the bow out of the Mini Bowdabra. Separate the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring them around to the back of the turkey and knot.
12. Using the Bowdabra Bow Wire attach the steel pin to the back of the turkey. Trim away excess wire.
13. Form the chenille stem turkey feathers, bend brown chenille stem to form the turkey’s neck and head, and lastly attach a small piece of red chenille stem for the turkey’s snood.
14. Proudly wear your festive handmade turkey pin or give it as a gift.
