Bowdabra Bow Wire makes it easy to create hair bows using silk flowers. Silk flowers look beautiful attached to headbands and barrettes but the floral stems and stamens make them bulky and hard to work with. Removing the stems from faux flowers and using the Bowdabra Bow Wire as a needle to thread the silk petals together lets you design beautiful easy flower and rose bows.

Place the Bowdabra ® Hair Bow Tool and Ruler onto the Mini Bowdabra, leaving a space at the bottom for the Mini Bowdabra tower to move. Cut an 18” piece of Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it in half. Lay it into the Mini Bowdabra. You’ll have a loop at one end and two loose pieces at the opposite end.
Lay one end of 20” marabou into the center of the Mini Bowdabra. Form a loop at the 3” mark and press into the center of the Mini Bowdabra. Make another 3” loop on the other side. Then, form 2” loops on both sides.
Cut a 7” piece of sheer ribbon. Pull the ends apart slightly for a frayed looked.
Press and crease the ribbon at it’s half way point into the center of the Mini Bowdabra.
Scrunch down with Mini Bowdabra Wand. While the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the Mini Bowdabra Bow Wire through the loop at the other end. Pull the Bowdabra Bow Wire tightly while the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra.
Gently pull the bow out of the Mini Bowdabra. Separate the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring them around to the back of the bow and knot. Using the Bowdabra Bow Wire tie the bow to a headband or hair clip. Do NOT cut Bowdabra Bow Wire after tying it on the headband.
Take apart a faux flower. Remove the stem and center pieces. Leave the petals with the holes in the center remaining.
Twist Bowdabra Bow Wire together into a long stem begin the thread the flower petals onto the wire.
Continue to add flower petals, once flower petals are on tie a large bead in the center of the bow with the Bowdabra Bow Wire, to hold everything together.
Lastly, unravel the twisted wire and curl it around a pencil for fun ringlets.
Bow is finished and ready for your hair.
