The Mini Bowdabra and the Hair Bow Tool & Ruler are wonderful for adding the perfect little bows used in card-making. We designed a “Happy Easter Card” using cardstock, gorgeous Morex ribbons, and cute little Mini Bowdabra bows.
To begin our a card we used several pieces of cardstock and a bunny cut-out of handmade paper. The handmade paper by Darice has the perfect texture for making an Easter bunny.
Next, we glued the cardstock in place and add a Morex bobbin ribbon along the side. The blue satin bubble pattern reminded us a little of eggs and the blue hue matched our color scheme. We also add 3/8? Satin Spring Moss ribbon to the bottom of the card to look like tall blades of grass. To make the blades of grass just glue or glue dot the ribbon at the bottom folds.
Next, we add little bow flowers that would sit beautifully in our green grass. To make the flowers we used our Mini Bowdabra along with the Hair Bow Tool & Ruler (metric side). We first began by placing 18? of Bowdabra Bow Wire folded in half into the center of the Mini Bowdabra. Then we placed the end of 3/8? Satin pink ribbon into the center of the Mini Bowdabra. 
Now to form a 2cm loop, twisted the ribbon over and placed it into the Mini Bowdabra.
Make several 2cm loops with the ribbon twisted on each side of the Mini Bowdabra. Once you have several loops cut the satin ribbon from the spool. Next, scrunch the ribbon down with your Mini Bowdabra Wand. Thread the two ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire through the loop that was formed when the wire was folded in half. Pull the wire tightly while the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra.
Take the bow out of the Mini Bowdabra and bring the wire around to the back and knot. Fluff bow and trim away excess wire. Glue a button onto the center of the bow and then glue the bow onto the bottom of the card to look like a flower in the grass. Make another bow for two sweet little flowers in the grass.
Using the Mini Bowdabra and Hair Bow Tool and Ruler make a bow using 3/8? satin ribbon for the top of the card. We made a bow with a 12cm tail, a 6cm tail, and then 3cm loops on either side. Trim the ribbon from the spool when you are done but leave a enough to fold the ribbon over and glue in place covering the Bowdabra Bow Wire. Then trim away excess wire or leave attached to the bow and curl it around a pencil to create fun ringlets.
Finishing assembling your card. We added faux stitching to our Easter bunny using Elmer’s paint pens and added a rhinestone eye. We also cut out an Easter egg using Darice’s Handmade Paper added the faux stitching and the words: “Happy Easter” with a thick tip Elmer’s Paint Pen. We finished the Easter egg by placing our Mini Bowdabra small satin bow above the egg.
The Easter card with ribbon embellishments is perfect to place in an Easter basket, give to a teacher, friend, or family member.
